MCMC - Learn how to create an indigenous wildlife pollinator garden at home
Wednesday 19 August 2026, 06:00pm - 08:30pm

After two years investing in the restoration of six special areas, with community between Coburg and Northcote beside Merri Creek - we’ve heard your interest in connecting with wildlife corridors from your home base.

Come along to this inaugural free workshop and learn about choosing and preparing a garden area, identifying suitable quantities of indigenous plants, thinking about where to place rocks and logs, timing and costs.

You'll learn how to create a space for new visitors - like native bees, beetles, Blue-banded Bees, Honeyeaters, butterflies, and more.

Please bring along three photos of the place you'll be gardening.

Where: Merri Creek Management Committee, 2 Lee Street Brunswick East. Here's the Google maps pin: https://maps.app.goo.gl/3tmAmHJfa25BxGA57
